Balbriggan Community Hackathon

Get involved! This exciting free event will be held on Saturday 16th October. 

It takes place in-person at the Bracken Court Hotel, or on-line, whatever works for you, SIGN UP HERE. 

You will be divided into teams based on area of interest. If you don't have a team already, no worries! We'll find you one. If you have a team you'd like to work with you're welcome to apply as a group. Just check the box in the application and make sure that everyone fills out the form :)

So What is the Changing Face of Balbriggan Community Hackathon? 

A ‘hackathon’ is an event that brings together lots of people from different backgrounds to work together to solve challenges. 

This event will be set around three challenges.

Economic Challenge:  How do we make Balbriggan an investment destination?

Culture Challenge: How do we foster and develop a thriving creative arts and culture sector?

Community Challenge: How do we build a stronger, cohesive and vibrant community? 

This community event is an opportunity to explore new and creative solutions to local challenges in the town of Balbriggan – the winners will get an opportunity to further develop their ideas, including possible seed funding!

All participants will receive a complimentary ‘Balbriggan is Class’ tote bag with goodies!
