Enjoy music from the Balbriggan Gospel Choir, who will start the festive fun with Mayor of Fingal Cllr Tom O’Leary, and Deputy Mayor Cllr Grainne Macguire. Plus, cast members from the Dublin’s Giant of a Panto – Jack & The Beanstalk (showing at The Lark Concert Hall) will join in the fun, before the lighting of the tree at 6pm. |

As you turn into Church Street you will feel the festive atmosphere as its sweet smells, colourful illuminations and Christmas sounds draw you into a charming timeless enchanting few hours of fun. Pick up some Christmas gifts or hand-crafted decorations or simply stroll around and absorb the atmosphere, enjoy some of the artisan foods or sample some of our special mulled wine or eggnog. Another key milestone in the Our Balbriggan rejuvenation programme has been reached.
The plan, which is set to transform the town with public investment of €54-57m, has seen a €3.3m creative hub move to tender stage.
Fingal County Council has already approved plans for the works at 2-4 Dublin Street, which are expected to be complete, pending the award of a tender, by the end of 2027.
Ensuring Balbriggan becomes a nationally renowned destination for arts and culture is a key part of the Our Balbriggan rejuvenation programme.
The creative hub is central to this.
